iTunes 9.0.3 Is Released With Bug Fixes

Apple has just released iTunes v9.0.3 and is now available via software update. The new release provides a number of bug fixes, as mentioned in the release note:

  • iTunes no longer ignores your “Remember password for purchases” setting.
  • Addresses problems with syncing some Smart Playlists and Podcasts with iPod.
  • Resolves a problem recognizing when iPod is connected.
  • Addresses issues that affect stability and performance.
For those using jailbroken iPhone, as always, you probably have the same question in your mind: Is the new release of iTunes compatible with jailbroken iPhone. From my preliminary test, there is no problem with jailbroken iPhone. It is quite safe for jailbreaker to upgrade.

It is highly recommended to upgrade to the latest version of iTunes. If you haven’t upgraded to iTunes 9.0.3, simply upgrade it via the software update feature in iTunes or just click this link to download it.
