Transfer iPhone Photos To Computer Wirelessly Using WiFiPhoto

Most of you rely on iTunes to sync the photos from iPhone to your PC/Mac via the dock or USB cable. There is alternative way to transfer photos wirelessly instead of using USB cable. With a sleek and simple interface, WiFiPhoto app lets you transfer photos from iPhone to your computer wirelessly. No docking or USB cable. It offers the easiest way to download full resolution photos from your camera roll or photo library over WiFi network. You are offered with options to download the photos one at a time or a compressed archive of all photos.

How To Use WiFiPhoto

To transfer photos, simply launch the app and tap the “+” button. Pick the photos you would like download and tap “Done”. In main screen of WiFiPhoto, you should see those photos you have just selected. To download the photo, launch the browser on your computer and connect to the URL as suggested by WiFiPhoto. For example, for the sample picture below, point your browser to http://10.0.1.5:8080


Once connected, WiFiPhoto will show you a gallery of the selected pictures for download. The app supports nearly all common browsers including Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari and Chrome.

WiFiPhoto offers multiple option via a configuration screen for you to customize. You can choose a different server port and enable the app to work over cellular data network, which is disabled by default. Depending your preference, you can also control the image quality for download. But remember , the higher the quality, the larger is the file size. The latest update of WiFiPhoto even includes the possibility to watch slideshows on TV screens connected to game consoles.

Multifl0w 1.3.1 (Cracked)

This apps is a multitasking interface which displays applications that are running and allows you to scroll left and right between them for quick switching. TroubleShooting & Fixes: Cydia Crashing On Dec 28


Note: You should NOT need to restore your firmware to fix this problem. Please have patience, a fix is being worked on.

This problem may cause by Zodttd’s repo sending data. This causes Cydia to go into a crashing loop. If the coming solutions do not help there is still the possibility that a restore may be needed.

Update #1:

Some good advice and instructions in the comments below. You can also try the FIXES AND SUGGESTIONS HERE, as the problem is the same as it was then. You must remove the zodttd source list that is causing the problem.

Update #2:

A quick fix for some (works only if you have apt7 installed)

  • Log-in as root using MobileTerminal or SSH and run this command:
  • apt-get update
  • This will update your lists and then Cydia should work.

No More iPods On Airplanes!


Regarding the recent attempted terror attack by Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab on board a US airliner inbound for Detroit, Michigan, dramatic changes could once again lie ahead for travelers of the not-so friendly skies of late. This weekend, some have already begun reporting new in-flight carry-on restrictions and other unfamiliar rules that now seem sporadically implemented across many major US airports.

Among the devices no longer allowed to surface on some flights are iPods. Strangely enough, however, no restrictions in Philly have been reported with regard to iPhones.

As we all now here at ModMyi, iPhones and iPods can be modified into all sorts of things, perhaps even unsavory devices that could do so damage if placed in the wrong hands. But will banishing iPods from airplanes actually makes the skies safer or, ironically, less safe – particularly for passengers sitting next to grumpy, rage-filled people deprived of their iPods?

Rumor: New iPhone June 28-July 2?

Apple may have already booked the Moscone Center for their annual Worldwide Developer’s Conference. In previous years, the conference has been used to introduce new iPhone models. AppleInsider has noticed that The Moscone Center Calendar lists a “Corporate Event” from June 28, 2010 through July 2, 2010 in the Moscone West hall. Previous Apple events have been reserved with the same title.


The original iPhone was released on June 29, 2007 and required an exclusive contract with carrier AT&T. It has since been rumored that this contract with AT&T could expire in 2010. If WWDC 2010 does take place on June 28, 2010, Apple might use the event to announce an additional carrier for the US.

iDownload allows you to download files directly to your iPhone or iPod touch and share them to any browser enabled device (pc, mac, linux, iphone, ipod touch, mobile devices, etc. Take advantage of wifi spots around the world to get all the files you need or use the cellular network to download that small important file when you just have no other access to them.



With iDownload, you are able to download files directly to your iPhone, as well as share files with any web-enabled device. This is supposed to be two-way, so files can be transferred both to and from the iPhone. Although the instructions on the website state that it would be “easy as 1, 2, 3”, I decided to put each function to the test.

Downloading Files

Seeqpod.com kept coming up in conversations as a potential site to use with iDownload. I checked it out using the mini-browser that is included within the iDownload app. I proceeded to listen to several musical files which after I confirmed the “Download Now” prompt, subsequently began to download into the Files section of the app. Within seconds, I had a few songs on my iPhone that I could play at any time. For the record, I chose songs that I already owned, since I have a sneaky feeling that not doing so would be a violation of some kind of copyright law.




Sharing Files

The next step in testing iDownload was to see how easy it would be to share files to and from the iPhone. The instructions said that I needed to enable sharing on iDownload and point my web browser to the web address displayed on my iPhone. I then got excited and immediately tested the upload file option. Once it was enabled on my iPhone, I proceeded to upload this very review onto my iPhone, and within seconds, I was viewing this document on my iPhone.

Connect Bluetooth Keyboard With Your iPhone Using Cydia Apps


An iPhone developer, Martthias Rinwald, releases the Bluetooth keyboard driver for jailbroken iPhone that allows iPhone users to use Bluetooth keyboard with the device. As the developer mentioned in the official website of iPhone Bluetooth Driver project,

Foldable, travel-friendly keyboards have been supported for at least a half of a decade by all smartphones, except by the iPhone. That is a shame, as the the iPhone is a compact computer you already carry around.


Why Apple doesn’t allow us to pair iPhone with Bluetooth keyboard? Anyhow, with a jailbroken iPhone and this hack, you can now use an external Bluetooth keyboard with iPhone.

The Bluetooth keyboard driver is based on the BTstack and supports various HID keyboards. Presently, the developer has put up a demo application named “Keyboard Driver Demo” on cydia. It’s free for download and aims to show you how the bluetooth driver works with your bluetooth keyboard. However, there is a restriction of the demo application that it only allows you to use the bluetooth keyboard within the application. Later, the developer will release a full version on cydia store.


To try out the demo application, go to cydia and install the “Bluetooth Keyboard Demo” package. The demo app is very simple. Once launched, it discovers all the Bluetooth keyboard around, lets you connect to it and type! However, make sure you set the Bluetooth keyboard as discoverable (refer to the keyboard manual for details). Otherwise, it will not work!

The driver supports both iPhone 3G and 3GS, as well as, all iPod touch devices with Bluetooth support. For iPhone 2G, as claimed by the developer, it may not work properly.

I’m awaiting the release of full version of the Bluetooth keyboard driver. Pairing iPhone with a real keyboard is really great! By combining a portable Bluetooth keyboard with my iPhone, I can write blog post or take note anytime without carrying the laptop. Apple should consider to bundle this driver in the next iPhone OS update.

7 inch Apple Tablet is Available in January?


They have very solid information about Apple’s upcoming tablet.

It has been widely reported recently that the size of the tablet is 10″, but there was also talk about a 7″ model. Our connect said there is 100% a 7″ Apple tablet, to be announced in January, and whether this is in addition to a 10″ model, they don’t know. Would we bet the farm on this? No, but they’ve been amazingly accurate for us in the past and as usual, Apple rumors seem to get more interesting…

The Financial Times also believes the announcement for the Apple Tablet will come in January. The WSJ points to a March release date.

Endless Walls: Get Cool Wallpapers Application Via Cydia


Endless Walls is a cool wallpaper application that lets you access a large collection of iPhone wallpapers from the Endless Walls community. Simply launch the application and it randomly shows you a high quality wallpaper from its collection. To navigate across the collection, just swipe with your finger on the screen from right to left or left to right and the app will load the next random wallpaper for you. Or you can tap on the “Play” button to view the wallpapers as slideshow. If you like the wallpaper, tap on the download button at the lower-right of the screen to save it into camera roll or just tap the star button to mark it as favorite.

The wallpapers are organized into several categories including animal, cartoons, games, nature, etc. By default, Endless Walls app displays wallpapers from all categories. To narrow your search, you can tap on the “Search” button (i.e. magnifying glass icon) to select those categories that you’re interested. Say, you’re just looking for wallpapers related to nature, just select the “nature” category. That should ease your search for the favorite wallpaper.

All stunning wallpapers are shared by other designers or iPhone/iPod Touch users. If you have some awesome wallpapers, tap the “globe” to upload and share your wallpaper. Hopefully, next time I load up Endless Wall app, I will see your great wallpapers.

Fact: Apple’s iPhone Exceeds Windows Mobile in US

From previous studies found the iPhone was outselling Windows Mobile devices and had a greater presence online, Apple’s handset finally unseated Microsoft devices in terms of overall use in October, a new study has found.

The latest survey of mobile operating system marketshare from research firm comScore found that the iPhone spiked to nearly 9 million U.S. users by the month of October, pushing it well past Microsoft’s total of just over 7 million users. In July, the two companies were about even in total mobile OS market share. The latest survey data was obtained by FierceWireless.

comScore has found that about 36 million Americans own a smartphone, while another 196 million own a traditional cell phone. The numbers are meant to represent actual ownership and use of devices, rather than sales.

The milestone has been expected. In August, it was revealed that the iPhone, for the first time, outsold all Windows Mobile phones in the second quarter of 2009. Globally, Apple had a 13.7 percent share of the market, while Windows Mobile took just 9 percent during that frame.

The iPhone’s Web presence has been particularly impressive, according to studies. One in November found that the iPhone was responsible for half of all mobile data traffic worldwide. That’s well ahead of Symbian (25 percent), Android (11 percent), RIM (7 percent) and Windows Mobile (3 percent).

The most recent comScore data allegedly represents the first study released since the debut of the iPhone 3GS in June. The numbers also include the Palm Pre, though its webOS operating system reportedly has not achieved enough of an install base to appear.

In July, Microsoft held a slight lead over Apple, by less than 30,000 total units. But three months later, Windows Mobile had added less than a half-million users, while the iPhone had gained more than 2.2 million. The totals represent a three-month average ending in October of U.S. mobile subscribers aged 13 and up. Respondents were asked to indicate the phone they own.

Recycle Your Old iPhone


We’re sure this will be a hit for the holiday season: Apple recently updated one of the iPhone support articles, explaining how you can continue using an iPhone as a quasi-iPod touch, if you no longer have a cellphone contract with your carrier. Let’s give an example:

Your iPhone 3G contract was eligible for the upgrade pricing not too long ago, so you purchased an iPhone 3GS. You have your old iPhone 3G lying around the house with no purpose. Obviously, you could try and sell it… but maybe your child has been begging you for an iPod touch. Apple wants to see these devices be re-used and not thrown into the trash, so they’ve outlined how to activate your iPhone (1st gen, 3G or 3GS) in the article.

It all boils down to this: never get rid of your SIM card. For the iPhone 1st generation, you have to keep the original SIM card in place at all times. Without this, it will not activate in the next software update. The iPhone 3G and 3GS do not need a SIM card installed for day-to-day use. However, you still need a SIM card for the required activation after a software update.

This differs a bit from the iPhone 1st generation: with the iPhone 3G and 3GS you can use any SIM card from your authorized carrier. Either way, it’s silly not to leave the SIM card in each generation of iPhone as long as you don’t need the SIM card for your new phone. Now you won’t get stuck at the “Connect to iTunes” screen forever.

ProSwitcher : An OpenSource Multitasking App


A Free and OpenSource Multitasking App? What about multifl0w you say? Hope you didn’t think that was going to be the last multitasking app to come to the iPhone.

Ryan Petrich, developer of OverBoard, has announced ProSwitcher, another Palm Web OS inspired utility to navigate through the applications running in the background on your iPhone, much like MultiFl0w does, only much easier, faster and more intuitive. And to top it all off, it’s FREE andOpenSource! The app is also being developed with the help of chpwn. The project actually started out as PreSwitcher, but the Ryan thought the name may cause some trouble, so now we have ProSwitcher.

The app will use a library called libactivator and allow you to select from a number of gestures such as flick to close, swipe to scroll, tap to open. The app is said to use very little memory and only runs what is needed.

No word on official release, probably a few weeks, but you can easily find the beta or visit Ryan’s hub here: rpetrich’s Profile – GitHub. And obviously you will need a Jailbroken iPhone.
